MakeShop Offers Support for PayPal
 
Tokyo – September 30, 2010 – GMO Internet Group company, GMO MAKEHOP today announces that online store building solution, MakeShop now supports payment processing service, PayPal.
 
PayPal
PayPal is an online payment processing system that allows shoppers to make purchases without having to provide their credit card details. Users are able to make payments almost anywhere in the world without having to worry about language or exchange rates, and as a result the system is rapidly expanding worldwide.
MakeShop stores are already able to accept credit card, convenience store, net bank and e-money payments. By introducing PayPal, online stores can now provide an even greater range of payment processing options.   

How to Implement PayPal 
After completing an application through Epsilon(*) , store operators simply select the payment processing options they would like to offer from the administration screen. When a customer makes a purchase, the PayPal link will automatically be displayed allowing them to complete their payment using PayPal. 
(*) Epsilon is a GMO Internet Group payment processing service.
Application Process
For New Epsilon Customers: From the MakeShop administration screen select “Service Options” then “Epsilon Application” to open an account. Select the PayPal payment processing method.
For Existing Epsilon account holders: From the Epsilon administration screen select “Add Payment Processing Option”
Evaluation
Epsilon completes the evaluation process on behalf of the applicant. The evaluation required by PayPal Japan is separate from the credit card payment processing evaluation. The process takes approximately two weeks.
