GMO Internet’s “GMO GPU Cloud”
Ranked 34th in the world and 1st in Japan in the global power efficiency ranking “Green500”

We are pleased to announce that GMO Internet, Inc. (President and CEO: Tadashi Ito), a member of the GMO Internet Group, has had its GPU cloud service for generative AI, "GMO GPU Cloud," ranked 34th globally and 1st in Japan in the June 2025 edition of the Green500(※1), a world ranking that measures the energy efficiency of supercomputers.
This international recognition comes amid growing social concern over the increase in electricity consumption associated with the surge in AI workloads(※2). It highlights the high regard for GMO Internet's efforts to balance energy efficiency with the effective use of AI to solve real-world challenges.
The ranking proves that "GMO GPU Cloud" is an advanced computing infrastructure that excels in both processing power and environmental performance, and that the engineering capabilities and service quality supporting it have been recognized at the global level.

[About “GMO GPU Cloud” ]

The "GMO GPU Cloud," which ranked 34th in the world and 1st in Japan on the latest Green500 list, is equipped with the "NVIDIA H200 Tensor Core GPU" and is the first in Japan to implement the high-speed network "NVIDIA Spectrum-X" along with high-speed storage. On the global supercomputer ranking "TOP500"(※3), it achieved 37th in the world and 6th in Japan as of November 2024, offering the fastest computing infrastructure among commercial cloud services in Japan. Since the service launched in November 2024, it has been adopted as the foundation for many AI development projects, including robotics development(※4) and autonomous driving AI(※5).
In the recent performance benchmark, using 32 GPU server nodes and a total of 256 NVIDIA H200 GPUs, it achieved 10.05 PFlops in LINPACK (solving systems of linear equations) and 53.81 GFlops/W in power efficiency (performance per watt).
These results demonstrate that the engineering capabilities and services behind the development and operation of the "GMO GPU Cloud" are at a world-class level.
