Since 2010, our company has upheld the “Commitment to Increase Smiles Among Colleagues,” focusing on enhancing the welfare of our partners. Over the years, we have established various welfare facilities, such as a free-of-charge employee cafeteria, cafés, childcare support systems, massage and nap spaces, all aimed at prioritizing our partners’ health and well-being.
However, to remain a leader in the rapidly evolving internet industry, we recognize the need for more advanced initiatives. In an industry where “people are everything,” ensuring that each partner is healthy and happy is key to delivering the best products and services.
Based on this belief, we evolved our efforts since 2010 and announced the “Health and Productivity Management Declaration” in 2022. This declaration positions the health of our partners as a central pillar of our management strategy, committing to further promote health-oriented activities.
Under the “Health and Productivity Management Declaration,” we aim to support the physical and mental health of our partners, providing a comfortable work environment that fosters the sustainable growth of the entire company. Moving forward, we will continue to value the smiles and health of our partners, contributing to the development of our company and the realization of a better society.

Our Health and Productivity Management strategy prioritizes the mental and physical health of our employees and implements specific measures to support this. This approach aims to ensure that employees, rooted in good health, maintain a positive outlook and a strong ability to achieve high goals. Through the enhancement of welfare facilities and the implementation of new projects, we aim to provide an environment where partners can perform at their best.
As part of the system to implement this strategy, the Group CEO is designated as the Chief Health Management Officer. We promote health and productivity management by working closely with the Partner Health Promotion Office, the Human Resources Department, the Welfare Department, the Employee Engagement Team, and the employee-driven community, while also receiving advice from external professionals.

Our company is committed to increasing partner smiles, as declared in our “Company Declaration for Increasing Smiles.”
We aim to improve employee health and productivity through a wide range of programs focused on “Food,” “Healing,” “Movement,” and “Medicine.” We provide free nutritious meals, drinks, and snacks, along with well-equipped relaxation spaces and massage services. Additionally, we offer exercise facilities, gym subsidies, and volunteer-led fitness projects to foster greater communication and raise health awareness. Through the maintenance of both physical and mental well-being, we are dedicated to enhancing overall productivity.

Supporting Health Through Nutrition

At our domestic bases, large communication spaces known as “GMO Yours” are established, offering lunch menus supervised by registered dietitians. In addition, there is a café with a rich variety of drink options, light meals for those who have breakfast or work late into the night, and snacks to nibble on during breaks. All of these can be used free of charge, supporting the physical and mental health of our partners.

Provision of Spaces for Relaxation

We offer a napping space “GMO Siesta” to clear your head for work in the afternoon, and a massage room “GMO BaliRelax” where you can receive professional body care services at a reasonable price. By providing relaxation spaces within the office, we aim to increase work efficiency.
