Notice Regarding Cessation of Offering of New Shares and Sale of Shares of GMO Financial Gate, Inc.

GMO Financial Gate, Inc. (“GMO-FG”), a consolidated subsidiary (second-tier subsidiary) of GMO Internet, Inc., has decided, at its Board of Directors meeting held on April 10, 2020, to cancel the offering of new shares and sales of shares and to postpone listing procedures, following due deliberations of various circumstances and guidance from the lead manager, in light of the global contagion of COVID-19 as well as lack of visibility of containment efforts in Japan, considering the details of the declaration of an emergency situation.
