Update to Notice Regarding Acquisition of Fixed Assets (GPU Servers) to Provide GPU Cloud Service for Generative AI

GMO Internet Group, Inc. (the "Company") had previously announced on February 13, 2024, Notice Regarding Acquisition of Fixed Assets (GPU Servers), that it planned to acquire GPU servers valued at 10 billion yen. This acquisition is contingent upon the approval of our plan to secure the supply of the "Cloud Program," which is designated as a specified critical commodity under the Economic Security Promotion Act.

Today, we are pleased to announce that we have received approval for this plan from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. We plan quickly among domestic hosting providers to provide ultra-fast GPU cloud services approximately by December 2024, adopting NVIDIA H200 Tensor Core GPU ("NVIDIA H200 GPU").
