Grandsphere Launches New Low Priced Digital Content Sales Starter Pack
Tokyo – July 31, 2007 – Digital Contents King, a digital content sales ASP service by GMO Internet Group company Grandsphere, tomorrow launches the Content Sales Starter Pack. The new package includes all the tools required to sell content over the Internet, and has been made possible through the cooperation of fellow GMO Internet Group member Global Web.
Content Sales Starter Pack Plan
The Content Sales Starter Pack includes construction of an online store for selling digital music, images or text files, the DRM (prevention of illegal copying) function required for operation, as well as billing and payment processing functions and the distribution server required to sell content from a web site. Take advantage of your brand’s strength by selling digital content from your company web site. Our package service is ideal for starting a digital content sales business with a low initial investment.
Features of the Content Sales Starter Pack
1. DRM, Billing, Payment Processing, Distribution Server (by Digital Contents King, Grandsphere) Use the Digital Contents King Entry Plan (*1) for the DRM, billing and payment processing functions that make it possible to sell Windows Media format (.wma/.wmv) sound and image files. Keeps costs down by limiting the content registered and products sold with Digital Contents King. Ideal for easy selling of small amounts of specialized content on web sites or blogs or to offer content for a short time. Digital Data DAM, the regionally dispersed storage service by Freparnetworks, Inc. is employed in the distribution server enabling a high cost performance CDN (Content Delivery Network) for files of up to 1GB. Even large files can be distributed without worrying about server load (both streaming and downloads possible). |

Digital Contents King
Digital Contents King by Grandsphere is an ASP service that provides the DRM (Digital Rights Management) function, billing and payment processing required to sell digital content such as Windows Media format music and movie files or documents and e-books in PDF format over the Internet.
Digital Contents King allows users to sell digital content (files) in encrypted format for download from existing web sites or blogs without adjusting the site. The service handles credit card payments (Visa, MasterCard and JCB) and electronic money (Edy and WebMoney).
