GMO Internet Launches Next Generation RSS Reader NewsGator Enterprise 2.0

Tokyo – September 11, 2007 – GMO Internet operated business RSS reader SaaS service, NewsGator Enterprise Server, has launched a service upgrade that offers a major increase in operability with automatic information gathering, Ajax, Tag Cloud and a range of other functions. At the same time the company web site has undergone extensive renewal.
The new upgraded NewsGator Enterprise 2.0 makes it possible to quickly gather beneficial information by examining and analyzing user preferences.

Recommend	News relevant to the user – Recommend RSS Feeds Useful information is automatically gathered and recommended by analyzing user preferences. Effective in turning up useful information the user may have missed.
SmartFeed	Automatically collects articles using tags and keywords SmartFeed collects articles using keywords and URLs. Tags make it possible to automatically collect information by category.
3 New Features (In-company Ranking/ Tag Cloud/ Group Clipping)	Three new collection features for widely read and important information Allows the user to identify quickly the popular and important articles out of large quantities of information. ・In-company Ranking: See which RSS feeds are most-widely read among staff ・Tag Cloud: Observe trends regarding which articles are being read by staff ・Group Clipping: An in-company social bookmark feature that allows staff to register useful articles
Tag Function/ Sort by Relevance	Gather and refer to relevant information Use the Tag Function to display only articles that contain a specified tag. Use the Sort by Relevance function to automatically analyze article content and display articles in order of relevance.

Ajax	New setting allows the user to switch easily between displaying the body of the feed and hiding it. All RSS Feed management tasks can be carried out using drag and drop or the right mouse button.
Select article display format	Select from four display formats: Title Only, Title + Part of Article, Complete Article, or Article List. The user chooses the display screen that best suits their needs to more efficiently read articles.
Quick access to Favorites	Automatically selects frequently read feeds allowing the user to quickly refer to them from Favorites.
Add Tags/Flags	The user adds tags and flags to articles enabling them to easily arrange and search through articles at a later time.
Local Search/ In-company Search	Search through articles using multiple search conditions including Keyword, Tag, Time and Read/Unread When the users registered feeds don’t contain the information they are looking for, they can search other staff members’ feeds. Find the required information fast by searching through large quantities of articles.
