MakeShop Introduces Mobile Affiliate Function
Tokyo – September 12, 2007 – GMO Internet Group company MakeShop, has added an affiliate function for mobile phones to the sophisticated, low-priced MakeShop online store construction ASP service.
Beginning today, MakeShop is compatible with the three affiliate services Moba8.net (F@N Communications, Inc.), Pocket Affiliate (DeNA Co., Ltd.) and Smart-C (ADWAYS CO., LTD).
The number of Japanese users accessing the Internet via mobile phone has reached around 70 million*, and the number of consumers purchasing products from mobile net stores is increasing. As a result, we are increasingly hearing from net shop operators that want to add advertising to their mobile sites.
MakeShop is expanding its range of mobile online store construction features to enable store operators to construct, manage and promote e-commerce stores on mobile devices.
We have added the affiliate function to enable us to offer better promotional support to online store operators in the mobile field. MakeShop stores can now use three of the major CPA (Cost per Action) type affiliate services, Moba8.net, Pocket Affiliate and Smart-C to increase their exposure.
MakeShop also offers mobile auction and mobile cooperative purchasing functions. The new mobile affiliate function is an easy way to promote a net store and increase sales channels.

Mobile Affiliate Function
Affiliate sites registered with Moba8.net, Pocket Affiliate and Smart-C can link to products, text, banners, etc. on MakeShop stores. When a visitor to an online store arrives via an affiliate site and goes on to make a purchase, register as a member or perform another specified action, the online store pays compensation to the affiliate site.
No inserting of HTML tags, CGI, programs or other complicated procedures are necessary. Simply enter the program ID issued by the affiliate site and other required information into the affiliate item text boxes on the administration screen.
