Global Web Launches 24/7 Speed Translation Service
Tokyo – October 30, 2007 – GMO Hosting & Security web development services consolidated subsidiary, Global Web, today launches Speed Translation Service. The new service connects customers with Japanese to English and English to Japanese translators 24 hours a day, 365 days a year over the Internet. GMO Hosting & Security is a GMO Internet Group company.
What is the Speed Translation Service
As business becomes more and more globally oriented there is an increasing need for fast translation services to handle such tasks as e-mail inquiries from abroad or arranging a sudden meeting with an international business acquaintance. Global Web has launched Speed Translation Service to address these needs.
The Speed Translation Service process is fully automated from quotation to finished product. Translators are standing by and the unique web system allows us to offer English to Japanese and Japanese to English translation services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Speed Translation Service – Four Features
1. Service Available 24 Hours a Day, 365 Days a Year – Finished Product Delivered in as Fast as 90 Minutes
The service is available late at night, early in the morning and on public holidays. Even outside regular business hours, customers simply enter the required information into the automatic quotation system on our website to receive a quote on fees, confirm the timeline and submit their translation request. We have specialist translators standing by to receive your request in real time. Regular translation service companies require a request to be submitted by mail and the customer then has to wait for a reply or call in to receive a quote. Our service greatly reduces the time spent on this part of the process and we can offer the finished product in as fast as 90 minutes.

2. High Quality Translation
Translation services available over the Internet generally use translation software. Unlike these services our translators are real people who are native English speakers or have achieved very high TOEIC or TOEFL scores. In addition, we provide details of our translators’ work experience on our web site making it possible for us to offer the best translation for each job. (*Note: We can not guarantee that a translator with experience in your industry will be available 24 hours a day 365 days a year).
3. Low Prices
We are able to offer services at a low price because the entire process from quotation and translation request to delivery is fully automated. Rates do not vary between translators and the price is calculated according to the number of words of characters.

4. Confidentiality
All translators registered with the Speed Translation Service are required to sign non-disclosure agreements to protect customer information. We strive to ensure that customer information is safe. Translation data is SSL encrypted during transmission.
