GMO Internet Launches New Domain Registration Sales Partner Program

Tokyo – November 7, 2007 – GMO Internet official ICANN* domain registrar, onamae.com last month added the new Lite program to its sales partner program (October 24). Lite not only allows users to handle domain registration it is also the ideal program for efficient management of multiple domains.
*ICANN（The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers）
American non-profit organization responsible for the global management of Internet domain names and IP addresses. It also holds the authority to designate official domain registration companies.
Sales Partner Program
In addition to providing our own customers with regular domain registration services, onamae.com has also implemented a sales partnership program. The sales partner program offers a total of five program choices. The Affiliate Site program allows customers to place an onamae.com banner on their site and earn money on contracts originating from the banner. There is a program for domain registration agencies as well as the Basic program and now the new Lite program. Onamae.com provides back up support so no domain knowledge is required to participate in the program.
The New Lite Program
The new program is cheaper and offers less complex registry information update procedures making it an easy program for domain registration agents to operate. We aim to reduce the administrative burden on domain registration partners by offering central management of multiple domains.
The New Lite Program Features
(1) Become a domain registration sales partner fast – easier application and screening process
Download the application from our website, submit the completed application along with identification and the application process is complete. This means that applicants are able to implement the program fast.
(2) Reduce the amount of time you spend on payments
We have introduced a deposit system to reduce the time it takes to make payments. Each payment is deducted from an amount deposited in a pre-determined bank account, so there is no need to wait for a payment request.
(3) Easy updating of registry information
Domain registry information updates and transfer procedures can be completed at our web site (excluding some procedures) free of charge.
*These procedures are the responsibility of the partner onamae.com does not directly check customers (domain registries).

・No deposit required – Basic monthly fees: ￥3,000 (￥3,150 inc. tax)
・Domain registration and other procedures can be carried out through onamae.com
・A 10% discount is applied to onamae.com processing fees
