Grouptube SNS Construction Service Lets Customers Use their Own Domain

Tokyo – February 22, 2007 -- GMO Internet Group company, paperboy&co. has made it possible, from today, for users to operate a social networking service from their own domain with the original SNS construction service, Grouptube.
Launched in March 2006, Grouptube is an original SNS construction ASP service through which around 3,000 communities are operated. It offers a vast array of applications both as an internal communication tool for companies and for use by clubs and other organizations.
Existing Grouptube SNS URLs look like this: http://xxxx.grouptube.jp however it is now possible for groups to select their own domain names. For example a group may choose to select a simple URL like http://example.com. No extra charges apply for taking advantage of this offer. The administrator of a group that owns a domain name can simply go to the administration screen and set the domain name to their SNS service.
Easy Sub Domain Setting and Introduction of SNS to Existing Sites
The SNS service can also be established at a sub domain like this: http://xxxx.example.com. This makes it possible to implement a social networking service on an existing site.
One of the features that distinguishes Grouptube from other services is the highly flexible design function that allows companies to incorporate their brand image into an original SNS design.
