JWord Announces Partnership with Free Song Lyrics Search Site
- JWord
Tokyo – February 22, 2007 -- GMO Internet Group company, JWord, the company that operates the Japanese keyword search service of the same name, has joined in a partnership with Second Vision Inc. to add JWord to the Second Vision free song lyrics search site, KashiGET. As of today, when a user searches for an artist or song lyrics by an artist that is registered as a JWord keyword, a link to the artist’s official page is displayed with the search results, marked by a red J symbol.
The Partnership
KashiGET is a free service that allows users to search for and view lyrics from around 40 000 songs. The unique site features J-Pop, animation theme and Enka searches by song name, artist name or phrase. It is also possible to listen to part of the tune, upload your own lyrics and create a blog on the site.
JWord is a search service through which companies register keywords including artist names as well as product and company names.
Now, when users visit the KashiGET site to search for lyrics by an artist registered with JWord, a link to that artist’s official website marked by a red J symbol appears above the search results. The users can then simply click on the link to be taken directly to the artist’s official site. JWord links are also displayed on the lyrics pages. A list of links to the official sites of related artists appears marked by the red J symbol at the top of the page. Usability is improved and users now have easy access to artist information at the while viewing song lyrics.
JWord Inc. continues to build JWord value by establishing partnerships with portal search site companies.
