Onamae.com Domain Registration Opens Year with First of Three Service Campaigns

Tokyo – January 15, 2008 – GMO Internet official ICANN domain registrar, onamae.com announces the opening today of the Multi campaign, the first in a three part series of campaigns. The Multi campaign runs until February 13 and offers 30% off registration when multiple domains are registered at one time.
*ICANN (The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers): American non-profit organization responsible for the global management of Internet domain names and IP addresses. It also holds the authority to designate official domain registration companies.
Onamae.com is striving to improve its competitiveness in domain registration and registration related services. In 2008 we are focused on providing our customers with better services at lower prices. We are beginning the year with a three part campaign between January and March that will offer special discounts on domains as well as new service releases.
The first of the campaigns is the Multi campaign offering discounts for multiple domain registrations. Using Multiple Domains
(1) Protect Intellectual Property
The domain that acts as a signboard for your web site is part of your brand and your intellectual property. When you are branding on the web or if you believe at some point in the future you will be building your brand on the web, it makes sense to register domains in advance and protect your intellectual property.
(2) Increase Traffic
By registering the same or similar names under different domains it is possible to provide access to one site from several different domains.

(3) SEO
By registering the site name, names of products featured on the site and other domain names related to a site, it becomes possible to attract users of Internet search engines using different search terms to one site.
(4) Operate Multiple Sites to Target Different Groups

How to Apply for Multiple Domains
(1) Go to the onamae.com site and check the availability of the domain name you would like to register.
(2) If a circle appears next to a domain then it is available. Click on the domain you would like to register.
*If you are registering the same name at different domains (eg. onamae.com and onamae.net) continue clicking on the domains you would like to register.
*If you are registering different names (eg. onamae.com and onamae0001.com) click on New Search underneath the search results (your earlier selections will be saved).
(3) After adding three or more domains click the Register this Domain button.
(4) Complete the applicantion and payment forms.
(5) Your domain registration is now complete.
