RapidSite Introduces Movable Type 4 Compatible Shopping Cart System, QUICK CART
Tokyo – January 17, 2008 – GMO Hosting & Security hosting brand, RapidSite now offers the Movable Type 4 compatible shopping cart system, QUICK CART.
RapidSite aims to provide customers using Movable Type 4 with better online store construction and management support by providing QUICK CART as an optional service beginning today.
To celebrate the introduction of the new service we are offering discounted fees through to February 18. GMO Hosting & Security is a GMO Internet Group company.
QUICK CART
QUICK CART is a Flash® based shopping cart system by QUICK-SOLUTION.COM , a service operated by BAYLEAF Co. Ltd and AT-FACTORY Inc.
Feature 1: Complete an order on a single page
Unlike other shopping sites, the entire ordering process is contained on one page so there is no need to move between pages to complete an order. This function increases usability makes it easy, even for first time users, to make a purchase.
Feature 2: Host of Online Store Functions
Functions for operating an effective net shop include credit card payment processing(*) e-mail software, order forms, and customer management.
*Separate application for the BAYLEAF, QUICK CART credit card payment processing service is required to use this feature.
Feature 3: Customizable for Creating Unique Online Stores
Movable Type compatibility makes it possible to customize design and layout.
Benefits for RapidSite Users
(1) Includes the Movable Type license required for commercial use
A Movable Type 1 license must normally be separately purchased to use QUICK CART for commercial purposes. However this license is a standard feature of all QUICK CART plans.
(2) No complicated installation procedures
Specialist staff install QUICK CART so the customer can start using the service without going through any complex installation procedures.
(3) The optimal server environment for online store construction and operation
A large 40GB disk capacity and SSL encryption for personal information protection are standard features of our service. Also allows multiple domains on one server so multiple shops can be operated from one service. We offer the ideal environment for operating an online store.
