MakeShop Adds Live! Video Editing Tool to ASP Online Store Construction Service
Tokyo – March 27, 2008 – GMO Internet Group company MakeShop, yesterday added the Live! video editing feature to the online store construction ASP service MakeShop (Premium Shop Plan).
Live! Video Editing Feature for Online Stores
Live! features an original editing tool that makes it possible even for beginners to edit video without purchasing any specialist software. Online store operators can use video to explain how to use a product, show results, show garments on live models, or play television commercials within the site. Video is an effective way of communicating to site visitors information about a product that is difficult to convey in a still image. Operators can expect this new feature to increase sales.
Live! Edit Screen Operation
Video can be uploaded at Live! accessible from the online store administration screen.
Intuitive operation makes it easy even for beginners to add sub titles and effects to their video.
The Advantages of Video Sharing
Video created by the user can be automatically displayed on the store administration screen and linked to product or shop pages. One of the disadvantages of using video sharing sites is that the site logo will usually appear on the edited video. However, Live! allows users to display their own logo on video files and link that logo to their store. This also offers the advantage of preventing visitors from leaving the site by keeping traffic moving within it. Live! has enabled us to offer a serious video editing tool to e-commerce customers.
