Global Web Offers Speed Translation Service on @nifty Translation Web Site
Tokyo – July 9, 2008 – GMO Hosting & Security consolidated subsidiary and web services company, Global Web has joined with NIFTY Corporation to offer Speed Translation Service, the 24-hour Global Web service that connects customers with translators, through automatic translation services site, “@nifty Translation”. Speed Translation Service is available from @niftyTranslation beginning today. GMO Hosting & Security is a GMO Internet Group company.

The Speed Translation Service process is fully automated from quotation to finished product allowing us to operate 24 hours a day 365 days a year. Unlike other translation services, there is no intermediary so we can deliver prompt, low-priced translation in as little as 90 minutes*1.
(*1: This refers to the period of time between when the translator is confirmed and the translation is completed.)
2. High Quality Translation
Our translators are native English speakers or have achieved very high TOEIC or TOEFL scores. We provide details of each translators’ work experience on our web site so that we can provide the best translator for each job.

3. Confidentiality
All translators registered with the Speed Translation Service are required to sign non-disclosure agreements to protect customer information. We strive to ensure that customer information is safe. Translation data is SSL encrypted during transmission.
Speed Translation Service Rates
Translation fees are fixed and do not vary between translators. Fees are calculated according to the number of characters or words. (English: number of words x unit price, Japanese: number of characters x unit price.)
