Magical Movie Function Added to Teacup Blog

Tokyo – January 15, 2007 -- GMO Internet Group company, Tea Cup Communication in partnership with Media Groove has added Magical Movie to the rental blog service, teacup blog “AutoPage”. The new function, available since December 26 last year, allows users to draw on movie files with their mouse and upload the files onto their blogs.
Magical Movie is the movie edition of Magical Maker*, the free Flash image creation tool that lets users decorate the photographs published on their blog with a pen tool and add moving illustrations.

Just one click away from the teacup blog upload screen, the user simply registers a movie file recorded on a mobile phone or other device, decorates the file and uploads it. (compatible files: AVI, MPEG-4, MOV, 3GP, 3G2, AMC) Magical Movie features a host of tools and items (pen tool, stamp tool, speech balloons etc.) that anyone can use to create easy and fun decorations. Cut a face out of a photo and insert it into one of our characters or use a template to create opening and closing credits just like a real movie!

Many teacup blog users had expressed to us their desire to be able to upload movie files onto their blogs. We have gone one step further and given them the Magical Movie function. Tea Cup aims to attract new users with the movie decoration function, a new form of expression and a new way to blog.

The teacup blog “AutoPage” rental blog service was introduced in July, 2004 and currently has around 340,000 users. The advantage of our service is its range of original features including the Flash drawing function (Magical Maker), a highly flexible style sheet editing function, and a service that allows the user to create a book out of their blog.
