iSLE Becomes Sponsor of J-League Team, Jubilo IWATA and Helps to Launch First J-League Channel Broadcast over the Internet

Tokyo – March 12, 2007 – GMO Hosting & Security hosting brand iSLE has signed a contract to become an official sponsor of the Yamaha Football Club, J-League soccer team Jubilo IWATA.Jubilo channel, the first J-League Internet broadcast channel was launched on March 10. The operation platform is a dedicated server provided by the iSLE hosting service.
Through the sponsorship iSLE aims to promote enjoyable communication over the Internet, to inspire our customers and to make them smile by providing hosting services, one of the foundations of Internet infrastructure. iSLE also supports the Jubilo IWATA club philosophy.
The Jubilo channel broadcasts the latest Jubilo IWATA information and is the first of its kind in J-League. The channel will appeal to fans of all ages, content includes videos of the players, local Iwata information and reports from the Jubilo mascots.
A Windows OS dedicated server has been used to provide a reliable operation platform with the ability to handle heavy traffic and the server load necessary to deliver exclusive Internet content and provide fans with a quality a viewing experience.
Through operational support of the Jubilo channel and participation in other joint projects that promote collaboration between sport and IT, iSLE will continue to support Jubilo IWATA and their fans.
Jubilo IWATA
Jubilo IWATA is a soccer club affiliated with the Japanese pro soccer league (J-League). Founded as Yamaha Motor Soccer club in 1972, it advanced to the J-League in 1994. Veteran J-League champions, in 2002 they became the first club in league history to have been both stage 1 and stage 2 champions. Several players that represent Japan also play for the team including Masashi Nakayama.
