GMO Internet Introduces GlobalSign One-Click SSL for Web Hosting Service
Tokyo – October 14, 2008 – GMO Internet announces the introduction of Unique SSL (One-click) a new optional service for the Onamae.com web hosting service, Onamae.com Shared Server SD. The new option features one-click SSL technology by GlobalSign, digital certificate service provider and fellow member of the GMO Internet Group.
Unique SSL (One-click), to be launched in partnership with GlobalSign, features automatic installation and fast issue made possible by an online application process that requires no document submission. With no tedious application or installation necessary the certificate can be used in as fast as just a few minutes.
One-Click SSL
SSL server certificate technology encrypts data and secures information transferred over the Internet. One-click SSL by GlobalSign completely automates the entire process from the tedious application and approval procedures until now required between CA and user, to manual CSR generation and installation.
One-click SSL will now be available with the Onamae.com Shared Server SD service through the Unique SSL (One-click) option. The new option offers users quick and easy SSL server certificate installation with a one-click application process.
Unique SSL (One-Click)
In order to furnish customers with a secure environment in which to operate a website, Onamae.com Shared Server SD offers the GlobalSign Quick Authentication SSL 256-bit encrypted connection SSL server certificate.
For customers operating web pages that handle personal information such as online stores, documents request pages and inquiry forms; increasing security through the introduction of SSL server certification can increase trust and sense of security among web site visitors.
