GMO MAKESHOP Introduces New Function Enabling Centralized Management of Stock across Multiple Stores
Tokyo – June 1, 2009 – GMO Internet Group company GMO MAKESHOP announces the launch today of a new stock management tool for MakeShop net shop construction and management ASP service. The new feature makes it possible to manage product information and stock levels across multiple stores, offering a significant reduction in management hours for online store operators who have stores in major shopping malls in addition to their MakeShop store.
More and more online store operators are operating stores in online shopping malls in addition to individual stores under their own domain name. Demand is rising for a tool that is capable of centrally managing stock across multiple stores .
GMO MakeShop has introduced a new stock management function compatible with online store stock management software, Otegaru Shuten for store operators managing multiple stores. The new function makes it possible for MakeShop users to link product information and stock level data from their MakeShop store, with data from stores they are operating in online shopping malls using Otegaru Shuten software. This enables product information and stock level data from multiple stores to be managed centrally.
Product Management Function
1. Product information and stock level data from the MakeShop individual store is automatically converted and extracted from the MakeShop administration screen. 2. The extracted CSV data is registered at the Otegaru Shuten administration screen to be automatically converted to data compatible with other shops and shopping malls. 3. Concerted CSV data enables stock to be managed across multiple online stores.
