Onamae.com Launches Large-Capacity Low-Cost VPS Hosting Service
Tokyo – September 17, 2009 – GMO Internet brand Onamae.com today launches Onamae.com Rental Server VPS, a low cost, fully controllable VPS* service featuring large disk capacity and memory.
*VPS (Virtual Private Server) a partitioned server in which each partition operates independently as a “virtual” private server. A web hosting service that offers the easy operation of a shared server together with the high performance of a dedicated server.

The new Onamae.com Rental Server VPS is an easy to manage, low cost service that offers server stability, high performance and total operation control.
Feature Rich Service with Superior Cost Performance
Despite the low cost, and operation on a server shared with other clients, the service offers 50GB of disk space, and many essential business functions as standard features including multi-domain hosting, virus check, MySQL, and PostgreSQL. Customers can design a server environment to suit their needs with root access and SSH for server administration, application installation etc.

Our Own Easy to Use Control Panel
Our control panel for system administration tasks like an OS reboot, viewing a log or adding new sub domains and email addresses, was developed in-house and is a sophisticated, easy to use panel that operates like a shared server control. This makes the service ideal for customers who have outgrown their shared server service but are not yet ready for a dedicated server service. In addition, because the control panel is housed on a separate server from the VPS service, control panel operation has no impact on the customers server resources (CPU, memory etc.).
Stable and Efficient System
The Onamae.com Rental Server VPS service houses multiple customers independently operating in partitioned areas. However with the appropriate allocation of memory and CPU resources, our customers experience no impact on server performance from other customers.
Customers can start using the service as fast as 15 minutes after application.
