Onamae.com Celebrates 11th Anniversary
Tokyo – September 13, 2010 -- Onamae.com, the ICANN-accredited domain registrar established in 1999 by GMO Internet, today celebrates its eleventh birthday having cumulatively registered over 2.29 million domains.

Eleven Years of Onamae.com
In April 1999 Onamae.com was appointed by ICANN to become the first domain registrar in the Asian region, and in September of the same year the service was officially launched. In its first eight years Onamae.com registered over one million domains, two years and eleven months later cumulative registrations had doubled to over 2 million.
