Onamae.com Introduces 22 Third Level .com/.net/.org Domains
Tokyo, Japan – February 22, 2011 – GMO Internet’s ICANN accredited registrar today begins accepting registrations for third level domains in the .com, .net, and .org namespaces.
Why we are offering third level domain registrations
Why we are offering third level domain registrations
Domain registrations are growing rapidly worldwide, and as a result there are fewer and fewer .com/.net/.org domain names available that are short and easy to remember. Third level domains open up registration opportunities in the crowded .com/.net/.org namespaces.
Coinciding with registry, CentralNic’s general availability launch of gr.com, Onamae.com will today begin accepting registrations for 22 CentralNic managed third level .com/.net/.org domains. We hope to provide customers with opportunities to register character strings they had previously been unable to secure in the .com/.net/.org spaces, by registering them as third level domains.
About Third Level Domains
Third level domains combine a top level domain (.com/.net/.org) with a second-level domain such as one that identifies a region (.de for Germany or .eu for Europe) and the chosen character string in the third level. Today’s announcement sees 22 third level domains being introduced to the Onamae.com lineup including br.com, uk.net and ae.org.
