ICANN Official Registrar Onamae.com Announces Revamped Service

Tokyo – April 19, 2007 -- The GMO Internet operated official ICANN* registrar onamae.com, on Monday introduced a revamped service offering improved usability and security. Features include a major upgrade to domain management tools with the introduction of the DomainNavi service.
The New Onamae.com Service
New functions that make registering a domain even easier and more convenient have been added to the Onamae.com service. At the same time we have introduced DomainNavi to upgrade tools for managing registered domains.
Not only have we improved existing features we have also added new security measures and functions that make domain administration and management more convenient than ever before.
Domain Registration Shopping Cart
A function that makes domain registration even more convenient. The shopping cart enables easy registration of multiple domains at one time, or can be used to create a list of potential names from which to select.
DomainNavi
Bulk Domain Renewal
DomainNavi makes it possible to renew multiple domains at one time. Simply select domains to be renewed and click on Apply. Information such as registrant and administrator details can also be updated on multiple domains simultaneously.
Transfer Lock
The Transfer Lock is a function that prevents a domain name being unintentionally transferred to another registrar in error. It also prevents fraudulent domain transfer processing by a third party.
Private Registration (Whois Registration Proxy) Now available for Thirteen Domains
When a domain name is registered the registrants name, address, telephone number and e-mail address are registered in the Whois** database and made public over the Internet. Private Registration is a service for users that don’t wish to publish personal details. Onamae.com will submit proxy information to be displayed in the Whois database. Until now we have handled private registration of six domains. Now we have added a further seven domains making private registration available on a total of thirteen domains.

Domain transfer is the process of transferring domain registration and management from your current registrar to Onamae.com. We previously handled the transfer of six domains. We have now added a further ten domains for a total of sixteen transferable domains. Consolidate the management of domains registered with different registrars in one place at onamae.com.
