Tokyo – November 15, 2011 -- GMO Internet Group company and online marketing solutions provider, GMO SEO Technology today announces it will become GMO TECH, Inc. as of December 14, 2011.
Reason for Change of Company Name
GMO SEO Technology, established in 2006, provides marketing solutions for Internet businesses specializing in web and mobile search engine optimization services. The company joined GMO Internet Group in 2009. In June this year GMO SEO Technology established a new smartphone marketing solutions business and launched smartphone affiliate ad network SMAAD byGMO, leveraging technology it has honed through research and development in search advertising.
GMO SEO Technology will change its name to GMO TECH in recognition of this business diversification. The company will maintain existing businesses and continue striving to provide market leading services while conducting research and development in the emerging smartphone advertising market.
