GMO Internet Securities Announces Reduced Commissions on Mini Nikkei 225 Futures and Nikkei 225 Option Transactions
Tokyo - May 22, 2007 -- GMO Internet Group company GMO Internet Securities announces a reduction in commissions on Mini Nikkei 225 Futures transactions and Nikkei 225 Options transactions beginning June 1st.
*GMO Internet Securities represents the “Nikkei 225 mini” as “Mini Nikkei 225 Futures".
Competition in the securities industry is intensifying in terms of commission levels and GMO Internet Securities strives to provide easier to use, more convenient securities services while maintaining one of the lowest commission structures in the industry.
Mini Nikkei 225 Futures Transactions and Nikkei 225 Options Transactions are financial products that are expected to grow significantly and we are now offering a major reduction in commissions on those products. As a result we reduce costs for our customers and maintain our price competitiveness.
